Single Copy Template & Trash Question

Not a question on how to…!I have SCT implemented ok with only one issue so far. Here’s hoping someone can help.

As well as SCT I’ve also turned on soft deletions (which every likes!), the issue is when someone tries to restore the email from the trash. Clicking on the restore button results in a ‘Specified agent doesn’t exist’ error. If I open their mail file in Designer this looks to be true as the (restore document) agent doesn’t show. However I’m a little confused at to what shows in Designer on an SCT database - is Designer showing the links the database has to the SCT? If so why isn’t the agent showing since it definitely is in the SCT…

The designer task ran last night on all mail servers and the log shows the process updating all the R6 mail files with no errors. ‘No refresh’ isn’t selected anywhere on the designs and the mail files were all updated using the convert server command (including folders). Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

Ian

Subject: Single Copy Template & Trash Question

Disable the ‘Single Copy Template’ option on your mail template. Then do a load convert at the console.

load convert -u mail\filename.nsf * yourmailtemplate.nsf

Then re-enable the ‘Single Copy Template’ option on the template and run designer and compact

load design -f mail\filename.nsf

load compact -B mail\filename.nsf
