i followed the (recommended) instructions in the release notes for single copy template, made a new COPY of my current template, enabled SCT, replicated it back to the server (where the SCT flag was disabled), re-read the instructions and made a COPY to the server instead (where the SCT flag was again disabled)
it appears that the SCT flag is neither copied or replicated (including cluster replication)???
has anyone else run into this yet?

SCT flag is a database option which is not replicated ( or copied ) to avoid any interoperability issue. SCT needs to be explicitly enabled at the database level for each server that you want enable this feature and of course your need to use ODS 43. In addition, SCT is a server based feature, and can not be used on client side.Futhermore when you create a new SCT , please ensure that you have changed your template name too, otherwise design will not be able to locate the appropriate one (several templates will claim to be the reference )

perhaps this info should have been in the release notes. as right now the recommended instructions are blatantly incorrect and the SCT flag will not get enabled if you follow them (which is all there is to go off)
hopefully the main help will get updated with an SCT section in the next release but that won’t be for at least another 3 months
