Hi there. I have always had Single Client Logon enabled on my Notes Client and it has worked great. Now all of a sudden when I logged into Notes this morning, it prompted me for my password… It’s kinda weird too… it’s not the normal prompt for password that you usually see come up… the prompt pops up on the top left hand side of the screen and all it says is “Enter Password”. I haven’t made any changes to anything, this just started all of a sudden… any ideas what would cause this?

Close notes and check your notes.ini for an EXTMGR_Addins= line - if there, remove it and give it a go.

That worked great! Just out of curiosity, what causes this entry in the .ini file ?

It’s required for programs that extend some of the functionality of Notes. If it’s there in your work environment, it’s probably for a reason. Check with your local IT types to find out. If it’s supposed to be there, you should be able to suppress the additional login by going to File->Security->User Security and setting the ID not to prompt for other Notes programs when Notes is open.
