Single category in embedded view

Having problems getting a single category embedded view to work!

I have two forms from two different db’s. Form “Equipment” and Form “Customer”. Form “Customer” contains a field called “ID” which contains the customers ID. Form Equipment contains a field called “CusID” which is the id for that customer.

I created a view with the first column sorted and categories with the “CusID” in the Equip db.

I then embedded this view into the customer form.

It is currently showing all equipment for every customer? How can i get it to show only the equipment with the matching customer ID?

Where CusID from Form equipment = ID from Form Customer

I tried putting in ID into the single category but that showed nothing?

Subject: Single category in embedded view

When you embed the view, I guess you must be having ‘ID’ in that Customer form. So when you open the Customer form, make sure that “ID field contains something” which matches with anyof the CusID in your embedded view and Have the formula in “Show Single Category” as ‘ID’.

If the ID (hidden field) gets filled up or has some value in it when you are composing this form with embedded view or opening the document from customer view, then only you will have some documents in the view, provided it matches with CusID. Otherwise blank only.
