I am having some problems with a embedded view and 'Show single category. The problem being that it shows documents when there should be no documents there.
I have embedded the view in a document (Form1) where i have an ID stored in a field. This ID is also stored in a field on other docs (Form2). The embedded view is categorized on the ID on docs created by Form2.
So basically i have the ‘Show Single Category’ set to the value of the field containing the ID on docs of type Form1.
This all works perfectly as long as there are some docs of type Form2 that matches the single category.
The problems starts when i delete all docs of Form2 for a certain category. Now you would think that the embedded view should be blank and not show any docs, but instead it shows docs with a similar ID except that it has some more characters at the end.
For example: I have ID WP234 stored on a document of type Form1 and a couple of docs of type Form2 with the same ID. Also i have a copule of docs of type Form2 with an ID of WP23456. Looking at the document of type Form1 and the view only shows docs of type Form2 with ID WP234 but if i delete all Form2 docs with ID WP234 the embedded view starts to show docs with ID WP23456 instead.
Obviously my first thought was that the ID match is not exact and would allways include docs with similar but longer ID’s, but then why arent those docs shown when there exists docs with exact ID’s? Why are those docs only found when there are no docs with exact ID’s?
