Since installing 9.0.1 server into our environment - can not create replicas

So we have several Domino servers 8.5.x and two 9.0.1 servers all on Windows. In the last couple of days we can’t create a replica on any of our servers. Via Admin client person->move to server or Admin client - Files - Database - create replica. It always fails with a popup box that says the “CN=First Last/OU=xx/O=xx needs create replica” on the other server. Several of us have tried this and we always have been able to do it. Server document has LocalDomainAdmins listed as “create replicas”. If we edit that field and specifically put our name into it - now it works. Take our name out - doesn’t work. Edited and resaved the “LocalDomainAdmins” group. Still no luck. We’re restarting the server each time we edit/change anything.

It’s like the groups simply are not working anymore?

I’ve fallen back to a PNAB design of 8.5.2 - still no luck.

did a load updall names.nsf - no difference.

And this problem seems to be on all of our servers.

Using the 9.0.1 admin client.

HELP!
TIA

Fix is in Release 9.0.1FP2 but not sure if it has shipped yet… You can open a PMR with IBM Support and then can send you the fix… This bug has been around since 8.5.x days but something changed that exposed it more often in 9.0.x…

Subject: BUG in 9.0.1 Admin client

Well this sure appears to be a bug in 9.0.1 admin client.

Changed nothing but did the same function using 8.5.3 admin client and it worked.

Looks like the 9.0.1 admin client is doing some lookup that is failing.
