Hi,
I know its a stupid question, i had search the entire forum and make the necessary settings but my agent don’t run.
Ok the situation is:
I got this agent that I had set to activate on schedule from 22/03/2007 to 25/03/2007 with more than once a day at every 5 min interval. The target i set it to “All documents in database”
Now my agent objective is to send a reminder email to all pple who failed to collect their parcels. But after waiting for 5 mins ( or more i guess ) the notification email juz don’t appear. I had make sure that i had a document with my email in there and even make a test run on that agent which does send a notification email to me.
So wat is wrong?
Sorry for taking up your precious time but i really don’t know what to do le…
my agent log is :
CN=test1/O=Triotech’ has unrestricted rights to run LotusScript/Java agents on ‘CN=triotechnt.triotech.com.sg/O=Triotech’.
Allow restricted operations flag is de-selected in this agent. Restricted operations will be disallowed.
Agent scheduled to run on ‘CN=triotechnt.triotech.com.sg/O=Triotech’.
and after enable and sign it and wait for a few minutes i go check the agent log
Started running agent ‘Counter’ on 22/03/2007 04:33:40 PM
Running on all documents in database: 66 total
Found 66 document(s) that match search criteria
Ran LotusScript code
Done running agent ‘Counter’ on 22/03/2007 04:33:40 PM

did you check the server log ?
perhaps there is a problem with agent execution rights
How do you send the mail? (by calling document.Send, or do you create that document directly in the mail.box of the server and save it there?)

i did create a log in my document to keep track if any email is send out. How do i check for server log?
I send mail by using document.Send.
The surprising thing is when i right click on the agent goto “Run”, the notification mail is send but when i juz left it there, nothing happens.
I reali gg crazy soon hahaha

Hi,I think you need to check for the execution control list(ECL)settings through user preferences for the workstation.
Since, this seems to be rights problem as it works fine if you sign the agent but is not working for the other user.

what if i sign that agent myself using test1.id? And the email for the notification also will be directed to me.
As of 4.30pm since i last sign and enable that irritating agent of mine, the log ( obtained by right click on agent, → log…)

I look into the user preferences, so i am to check on the enable scheduled local agent?

Just try with your mail.box
ie open databse(Ctrl+0) and type mail.box
have u and any mail to release?
