Simple Agent Fails, but worked fine for a year

Simple agent that basically changes the value of a field so it moves from the “To be printed” view to the “Already printed” view.

FIELD Printed := “Yes”;

SELECT @All

This stopped working when I created an archive copy of the DB and moved all documents except current year into the archive. Then I ran a compact job on the DB to reduce it in size (it was approaching 9 gig). I had some errors during the compact, but ran it again with -i and -c. The database errors went away and the DB worked again as normal…except for this simple agent.

The error I get is “Action Failed, No Documents Found”. Although I am selecting documents that do have a field called “printed”. I verified that the agent is Shared, Action Menu Selection, and All Selected Documents.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have created a brand new agent and it does the same thing.

Also, if I run the agent from a backup copy of the DB before I created the archive and compacted it…the agent works fine. I just don’t know what changed from the old DB to the new one. The agent is identical, the form is identical…no design elements were modified.

Try running an ‘UPDALL -r’ on the database (and maybe a FIXUP) and see if that fixes it.
