Similar user name problem

Hi

I have two users with the same initial and surname. WE have distinguished between them by one having an initial. The problem I am experiencing is that one user seems to receive the other users mail.

The usernames are kross@xxxxx.com and kaross@xxxxx.com. User kross seems to recieve some of kaross’s mail. This is usually internal mail but for some reason is using their internet email. I’ve checked on the users pc that are sending the mail and they do not have the users listed in their local address books.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ang

A couple things that I might suggest. The first is in the server Names.nsf look at the short name field for both people and make sure that they do not both contain the same short name. This could cause some confusion, and I would suggest this as the most likely place.Second check to see if the miss direction has any consistency to it. Is it KRoss that gets KARoss mail and not the other way around or is it random. Next look to the sender, is the misdirected mail just from one or two specific senders. In this case the sender might have an entry in their Names.nsf

If it is neither of these then someone else will have to help because it is beyond me.
