We usually sign db’s with Server ID of our administration server which is running Domino 6.5.4. Our Application Server though is in 6.0.2. My question is: when we sign db, does LS is compiled with version 6.5.4 or still stay same (6.0.2) as it is in our App server?

As far as I know, signing of documents or design elements does not perform a recompile.

I agree with the same restriction → AFAIK.
But even if it did, LS compiled in 6.5 should run on 6.0 just fine (as long as no code specific to 6.5 has been used, of course).
