Show unread count for inbox on Lotus iNotes

Hello,

I’ve been assigned to modify the iNotes template interface in order for the left nav bar to display the unread count for the inbox entry. While this is certainly modifyable within the Lotus Notes client by checking the “Show unread count” in the embedded outline, this option appears disabled within the “WebMail Picker” page that contains the embedded outline.

Is there any way to do this?

Subject: iNotes doesn’t rely on that outline property

Rather this is now a core iNotes feature available with 8.5.1. Are the folder unread counts for the Inbox not appearing within the outline when you start up iNotes 8.5.1 or better? That should be the default behavior. If you wish to enable this for all folders (a bit more expensive on server), this can be done via a Policy setting.
