In a form-field I would like to get a value from a view in another DB and server.I have tried @Picklist - below - but it does not work well.
It seems that one cannot use @Picklist in a form like this?
In a form-field I have this @Picklist:
Server := MyServer;
DB := MyPath;
@PickList( [Custom] ; Server:DB ; “MyView” ; “xxx” ; “yyyy” ; 2 ).
When I “activate” the field a view-dialog is shown as it should and it seems that I can select one keyword (“value”) from the view. But when I click OK another dialogbox is shown with the title “Select a Keyword” and the keyword I selected form the view-dialog is shown in this dialogbox. It works to select this keyword which then is written in the form-field but it seems like one step too much.
I would like to get the keyword in the formfield directly from the view-dialog without going through another dialogbox.
Has anyone solved a similair problem?
