Show the right image on ListBox selection

Hi!I have a listbox with 4 different choices.

I would like to know how to show a different image for each value in that listbox. (the image should be somewhere on the same form of the Client Notes)

The images are already available inside the common resources of the database template…

For Example:

Listbox value: 1, 2, 3, 4.

If I chose value 1 then I’ll see IMG1

If I chose value 2 then I’ll see IMG2

If I chose value 3 then I’ll see IMG3

If I chose value 4 then I’ll see IMG4

Thank you in advance.

Add all 4 images to your form and give each of them a hide-when formula. The hide-when for image 1 may be something like this:

ChoiceField != “Value1”

Set the list box field to refresh the document after the choice is made and your images should display correcty per the choice showing in the choice field.

If these are image resources, you should be able to insert an image resource and use a formula to calculate the image name.

How can I do to calculate a formula in the image name?Assuming that the ListBox field is named “tickettype”…

How can I do to adda a"generic image resource" and validate it with the “tickettype” selection?

thank you

Insert an image resource, then use the picture properties, click the @ button, and enter a formula that returns the name of the image resource you want to use. It helps if they are all the same size.

Refresh this page a few times to see the results: the image below should change randomly.
