"Show folder unread information" ignored on a Notes client

I have a user’s mail db that refuses to show the number of unread documents that resides in the folders. When I check the properties for the Embedded Outline “Notesmail Picker” they are in place (Maintain unread info + Show unread info).

If I open the db in my Notes everything looks as it should, but when the user tries the info won’t show - we have identical Notes clients R7.0.2.

To me it looks like her client could be caching some design elements. Am I on the right track? Anyone that has experienced the same or anything similar?

Not been able to try yet, but the section under “Unexpected and unconfirmed behavior” looks like that has to be tried.
