I have created an additional directory on a 6.5.4 Server and added this to the Directory-Assistance-Database. Now this directory is visible in the Address Dialog to all users.
The ACL of the directory is set to allow only some user to read, all others have no access. This works also fine, the users, that don’t have access to the directory get an Not-Authorized-Message, when they try to access it via the Address Dialog.
NOW MY QUESTION: Is there a way to show this directory only to the users, that have access to it and not to all users?

You could check out the notes.ini for the line that starts with “names=…”.
That address dialog gets its entries, i.e. the directory names, from this line. You could try deleting the unwanted directory names form that line.
If the above works, then you can do the same for the users that don’t have access. If there are lots of users then you’ll have to get the server admin to remotely push the change to all the relevant users using the OS scripts.
