Short urls from the web

We used to run 5.0.11 and had 100’s of “short URLs” to various parts of the website ie

http://www.mysite.co.uk/press

The file it found would be press.htm

This worked well but with 7 it doesn’t and insists on

http://www.mysite.co.uk/press.htm

any ideas on how to get around this

http://www.mysite.co.uk/press generates a 404

All that can still work in R7, but there was a substantial change between R5 and later releases.

Check out the admin help for “Internet Site Documents”, and pay particular attention to redirects and substitutions.
