I met with my IT department, told them my requirement to update was client based, not web-based, and database can be updated locally and reupdate to server via replication.
they were sort of surprised as their design was only web based.
I immediately knew of how Microsoft tried to avoid resolving replication feature, etc, as this is something they have not able to copy , as what I have read many times in the forum.
I have not seen the additional feature of notes mail in v8, but do acknowledge that outlook was very user friendly in retrieving old emails.
I am also not sure how far has Microsoft integrate to SAP compared to Lotus. they are concentrating on email only currently.
