Whatever happened to the shared column concept? Why didn’t we see this in R6?

it is an area under active investigation, but the task was too big to squeeze into the time we had for 6. It remains a high priority and interesting feature.

Thanks for the feedback. It would be a huge time saver for web based apps.

Even if you can’t deliver the fully function shared columns, I would take a compromise in the meantime. Something like shared formulas (much like shared fields) that can be used in view columns.
