Shared Lotus Notes Problem

Hi I am new to this group and new to Lotus Notes. I have a question about sharing email with two people. One person is checking his email on one computer and the other user has access to his email from a bookmark. Is there anyway that when one user opens a email that the other can tell if the email has been opened? It should change to black instead of Red but I am not sure if this can be done.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Trevor

Subject: Shared Lotus Notes Problem

This is a rather frequent question, but the answer is no.

Notes calculates unread marks for each person individually. One option might be to quick-flag each mail that has been dealt with. The flags should be visible to all users, when I remember right.

This adds the overhead of manually clicking on a button, but it adds the flexibility to only mark mails, the user has really acted upon.
