We have implemented ID Vault for our 8.5 users. We are also testing Shared Logon. It appears that those of us who are using the Shared Logon feature are not vaulted. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution/work around? We discovered this when our manager got a new machine and his ID is not in the Vault (he was using Shared Logon)!

Both ID vault use and Notes Shared Logon use are managed via policy. Can you check the effective policy of the Shared Logon users to make sure that they are enabled for vault use?
If they are, check the log on the user’s home server and on the vault server and look for any errors associated with the user with problems.

Our explicit test policy did not specify the ID vault. We will change that and continue to test.

Your users’ NSL ID should be uploaded to the Vault, so we’ll try to figure out why that’s not happening.
Please answer the following:
Have you found that none of the NSL IDs are stored in the Vault or it it just your Admin’s ID which is missing from the Vault?
Do your NSL users have a different Security Policy than your other users? If it’s different, have you verified that the user’s effective policy specifies the ID Vault correctly?
