I’ve made an email account and gave several users access to this account. I’ve created a shortcut in their lotus notes client so that they can read and send email within this new account. I want that when one of the users open a received email, it must mark as read, so that the other users shall know that that email is already read. What must I do?
Subject: unread marks are user ID specific
the unread marks are tracked in a table for each user ID. You cannot mark a document read for others once it’s read by someone else. If someone opens the e-mail in the shared mailbox they should move it out of the Inbox and into another folder to take ownership of it.
