Several nsd on server starup

Hello I am testing Domino on a couple of Linux distros not officially supported by IBM (OpenSUSE 11 and Ubuntu 8.10)

The installation of domino server goes fine, I can start the server, configure it and connect to it.

I just notice about 4 instances of NSD being created during server start.

I can indeed see NSD files in the IBM directory, but the server seems to work ok.

Any idea what could be wrong? I can’t find anything suspect in the files

Thanks

Subject: Nsd on startup

In those nsd files search for the word ‘fatal’. What task is the fatal associated with?

Subject: Actually there are no nsd files

Actually to be more correct, NSD runs and shut down, but there are no nsd files, only console.log, serverdoc_* sysinfo_* SEMDEBUG.TXT and ADC_PROCESSES.

And I searched all these files but there is no sign of errors or fatal (normally they are only in nsd files).

I wonder why the server is starting the nsd and why it generates the output in the directory.

Maybe because it detects an unsupported Linux?

Everything seems working.
