@SetViewInfo multivalue field

Hi

I have been trying to use a hidden multivalue field together with @SetViewInfo - I have come to the conclusion that I cannot search for a single value in a multivalue field when the view style is calendar - does somebody know if this is true?

Here is what I have tried so far:

I have written an application that allows you to keep track of the training people have in an enterprise. I have course documents that can have up to 3 lecturers (ReferentInnen in German) per document – these lecturers are each kept in separate fields (name1, name2 and name3). I have programmed a calendar to display all the courses – this view has three hidden fields that display the name1, name2 or name3. I have 3 buttons so that you can see the calendar for a specific lecturer. This setup works perfectly. The problem is that sometimes the lecturer was entered in field1 and other times in field2 → if I want to check where somebody is I need to press all three buttons. I would now like to just use one button – I created a hidden colum in the view ($ReferentInnen) and populated this with the formula name1 : name2 : name3. The button now contains the following text:

REM { clear the current selection };

@SetViewInfo([SetViewFilter];“”;“$description”;FALSE);

REM { create a list of all the current lecturers };

referentInnenList1 := @Trim (@Unique (@DbColumn (“Notes” : “NoCache”; “”; “vwVerTerminPLRef1”; 1)));

referentInnenList2 := @Trim (@Unique (@DbColumn (“Notes” : “NoCache”; “”; “vwVerTerminPLRef2”; 1)));

referentInnenList3 := @Trim (@Unique (@DbColumn (“Notes” : “NoCache”; “”; “vwVerTerminPLRef3”; 1)));

refList := @Sort (@Trim (@Unique (referentInnenList1 : referentInnenList2 : referentInnenList3)));

REM {who do you want to display?};

personName := @Prompt ([OkCancelList]; “Anzeige Person”; “Bitte Person wählen”; “”; refList);

@If (personName = “”; @Return (“”); “”);

REM {display your person};

@SetViewInfo ([SetViewFilter]; personName; “$ReferentInnen”; @False; 1)

Unfortunatly this only works if the person is the first one in the multivalue list – I assume that the selection is correct. I assume that the column value is the problem – I formula is:

Name1 : Name2 : name3

I have set the multivalue option to NewLine and also tried Comma, neither work!

Any ideas?

Thanking you in advance for any help given
