I’m a roaming user since 6.5.5, having my roaming files stored on the server and using single sign-on (password synchronized with Windows logon).After having installed and started the 8.5.1 client on a new installation, the client prompts me for my name and the server I want to connect to. Then it prompts me for my password. The password is always refused, even that I know that it is correct (tested it on another client with a switch id).

When you change your password trough windows(and not in Notes client) it’s change for your Notes id too, but if you’re a roaming user it never roam again, the result is that the password you’re prompt to is an old password.
The best thing to do is to downgrade your account to non-roaming, start your configuration of Notes 8.5.1 then upgrade to roaming again.
