Folks, Im relativley new to notes and I have been asked to setup a relay mail server so that we can route all our email inhouse.
can anyone point me in the direction of documentation which will show me how to setup a server as a relay server

I will hope that you have already configured your Domino server for SMTP mail.
If you want internal addresses to relay off of your Domino server, in the Configuration Document for the server, Router/SMTP, Restrictions and Controls, SMTP Inbound Controls, “Allow Messages only from the following internet hosts to be sent to external internet domains” field, enter the IP Addresses of the servers or workstations that will be allowed to use your server as a relay. You will have to restart the Router task for this field to be recognized. Read the field level help for your choices of how to enter IP Addresses.
