I am fresh on System Administration for Lotus Domino. I have a fresh server, on which I need to configure mail routing with the external world. What are the settings that I need to do so that I can send out mail and receive mail from external domains?

Go to Admin Help and search by keywod Routing, you will get enough information on mail routing.
Lotus Helps dbs provide help on most of the issue and this should be your first place of search for anything.
