Setting unread mark only on new message, not reply/forward

Hi, I’m trying to set up my Notes 6.5 so that when I receive a new message it is marked as unread and is in red with the star in the far left column. Then, if I reply or forward, it would show the icon that it has been replied or forwarded to, but not turn the color red as if an unread message.

If I check the setting in the local replica properties advanced tab to “Don’t maintain unread marks”, it never marks them as new. I’ve tried unchecking the setting in the local replica properties design tab to mark parent note on reply or forward, but then the icon that it has been replied or forwarded to is not seen.

Anyone know how I can set it up to show when a new messages comes in by marking it as unread, but not as a new message when replied to or forwarded??? Thanks.

Jan, thanks for the response, but it is not the same situation. If you read my post carefully you will see the difference in the question and that I have addressed this option that you refer to.

Any one else have any ideas?

I got the fix. There is a check box in the propeties that I didn’t notice before. Was checking again and noticed it. My mistake.
