Setting date with lotus script

hi

I am setting a date field in some saved document using a date field from the current document.

I have used

Call doc.ReplaceItemValue(“cdt”,cdoc.dated)

both fields are of same date format say dd/mmm/yyyy

but when i set the field i get the time too can i avoid the time.

This is because of your field dated in cdoc. It already contains a datetime value.

To separate date and time values, use functions like these:

date$ = notesDateTime.DateOnly

time$ = notesDateTime.TimeOnly
