Set Secure - unknown password - fix please

Hi,I have looked through the threads and can’t find if this can be fixed or not…

I am on a site for a few months and have full access to the server but… someone, who has now left the company, has used the set secure on the server console and left without telling anyone the password. I need to issue certain tell commands etc.

Is there a way of resetting this so as to clear the password.

I do not have physical access to the server (version 5.06a by the way) but I can get someone to physically access it if necessary, if that’s what the fix requires.

A definitive answer will be hugely appreciated, many thanks.

remove the line SERVER_CONSOLE_PASSWORDfrom the servers notes.ini and restart. I think shutting down from services or shutting down the operating system would cleanly stop domino without needing the password

Thanks Alan, have asked to have that line removed from teh notes.ini and awaiting next server restart.
