Set config not imediately effecting Notes on Linux like it does on Windows

Good Morning,I performed a set config NAMES=names.nsf,etc.

It changes the notes.ini, but does not take effect on the server. I still cannot see the other Domino Directories when in a new memo.

We moved to Linux from Windows a couple of days ago. Linux is case sensitive, so I reset the notesini NAMES line.

Any suggestions without restart server?

I did try tell router update config. Did not work.

Hi,

Set config NAMES=something need restart on any platform.

There are a few parameters who need a restart to be taken and others no. This is not platform dependant.
