Hi all,
I have a requirement. Actually How can i track the time from which the user hase last run a particular agent.
What i want is when first time user opens a lotus Notes client and runs the agent first time i want to check the time.
No next time when the user runs the agent i have to check if suppose user did not run the agent for last 10 mins or say idle from last 10 mins when first time he run the agent, i want to execute some action if he did not run the agent for 10 min next time.
can this be done practically in Lotus Script. I am new to it and requires guidance.
I hope i am clear.
Thanks
Milind

You could put a date/time field on the form to capture the time the agent is run. When the button is clicked, check the date/time in the field and if 10 minutes has passed, reset the date/time and let the agent run.
You can definitely do this in LS. Read the help about date/time and how it is set in script. There’s a lot of information available.

Hi Sam,
Are you sure this filed value in the form will be persisted once the form is closed.
Will i be available to access when i access the form next time.
Actually my requirement is
I have two forms
LoginForm and Actual application form
Now first time user runs the Agent i will run the Login Form and Capture the Userid and password and save it somewhere.I am not clear where to save do you think environment variable will work.
Now what i want if user runs the agent next time within 10 mins i should not ask for Userid and password and take it from location where i saved and direcly jump to application form.
but if he runs the agent after 10 mins then i should ask him for Login id and password again with the Login form.
Can i do this is Agent itself without form. What you say?
Thanks
