Session Tracking keeps generating a new CARTID

Hi everyone

I implemented a web site that uses session tracking as detailed by the IBM Article Anatomy of a Domino e-commerce Web Site. See link below.

I implemented it successfully but unfortunately in the process my computer was upgraded to Windows XP so my IE is a brand new setup. I did not change any of my code which was working fine when I was still on Windows 2000 and my previous IE Setup, but now, it’s no longer working. It keeps generating a new CartID no matter what settings I try to setup in IE. I’m pretty sure my problem has to do with the settings but I’m not familiar enough with IE and Domino Web Sites to find what the problem is or which settings I must set.

JavaScript is enabled in IE and cookies are also enabled. Has anyone implemented this article before and know what settings must be set in IE to make this work?

Hi Francine, I have used this article to help me setup a web app that uses session tracking via cookies. I have just upgraded to XP from Windows 2000 and everything is working fine. I have not done anything special in IE to make this work.
