Servlet on Domino

While trying to run a Java Servlet (domino 6.5.4) on the iSeries DominoWebServer we get the next error:

HTTP JVM: java.lang.noSuchMethodError: getServletName()Ljava/lang/String;

:getServletName()Ljava/lang/String. We know the getServletName() function is part of the servlet.jar which is present on the server. Should we somehow connect this jar.file ? We have JDK1.3 installed on the iSeries, so Domino should use the jar.files from JDK1.3 ?

Both the JVM as the Java Servlet Manager are started without any errors.

Make sure that your server’s notes.ini has this line properly set:JavaUserClasses=D:\NOTES\DATA\DOMINO\servlet\YourJavaJar.jar

and also on the server document, under Internet Protocols/Domino Web Engine/Java Servlets/Class path:

domino\servlet

d:\notes\data\domino\servlet\YourJavaJar.jar

is set properly.
