Hello, I am fairly new to Lotus Administration,
My certlog on my smtp server has pages upon pages of spammers trying to deliver email to anyone. It almost appears as if it was a dictionary attack. It also appears to only be affecting one of my smtp servers not all. The email results as
“rejected for policy reasons. Recipient could not be found in the Domino Directory.” Its as if there going through every letter in the alphabet. My question is , Is there any way to stop these emails from even touching my server or is there a security setting that I miss. Whats worse is that the email are taking form of our domain name, one spam came in as hi@_Our_dOMAIN_Name to one of our users. I really believe according to the Health Monitor that these bogus emails are taking a toll on my server.
Any suggestions is truly appreciated.
