Server search order for database links?

Hi all,

Hope you can help. We currently provide database links in emails to staff. We have 5 notes servers. Is there a way you can change the order that it searches these servers as its doing it in alphabetical order and the first server is the DR server and only gets replicated at night, so when a user clicks the DB link they get a not found error. Is there a way we can tell the way it searches to look for the DR server last?

To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to do this, but I wish there was.

I posted this as a suggestion on ideajam.net, and someone responded that it might be possible to reconfigure the Notes Named Networks in the Domino Directory so that the first server searched was the user’s home server - but it seemed like a lot of work to me, with some potential impact on mail routing.
