Server problem

Hi All,

Our users use replication stuff vastly. there is one server related error “XXXX/app Not a known TCP/IP” for troubleshooting user delated the existing local replica copy. After deleting user unable to create new replica copy.

any idea would be appreciated. ADV thanks

Subject: server problem

Use preferences → user preferences → ports → trace and type in the server name XXX/App. This will tell you how the Notes client is trying to connect to the server in question. If it fails to connect then add a connection document to the local address book (File → Mobile → Server Phone numbers) for a Local Area Network Connection to XXX/APP specifying the IP address or DNS name in the ‘optional network address’ section. If they only get this issue when out of the office then you should associate this connection document with the location that they switch to when out of the office . Keep using Ports → Trace to see if what you have done is working
