Server not responding to remote console commands

I get the following message when I try to access the server console or server tasks through the administrator client. The error is:

Server Error: Server is not responding to remote console commands (try again later).

This is pretty annoying because I am not physically present in the cities where I administer the servers. Is this a bug? Is this a setting or my server is just crashing/ hanging?

Hi,

I am having similar problem too. My server is application server on solaris. I keep getting these errors on my server.

Please let me know if anyone finds any solution for this.

We are experiencing similar problems here, with a solaris 9 server. We appear to be able to access databases, but cannot run event monitor, or issue remote commands, http server task is running but trying to access webadmin.nsf fails, (blank screen). Server monitoring shows all tasks as stopped, server console appears but the commands are not responded to.

Has anyone found a solution to this one?

Asad - I’m experiencing similar errors on a Solaris 6.5.1 partitioned server, can’t issue commands via remote console to either server. Were you able to find a resolution for this?
