Sometimes when starting the Domino 6 server (or using restart server) the server hangs while starting the various server tasks. The console window gets frozen and the only solution is to kill the processes and try again. I’ve sometimes removed some of the tasks run at startup (such as router, http, pop, imap) and then, in most cases, the server starts normally. Then I have to start the tasks manually (load router…).
Does anyone else have this problem or explanation of what might be wrong? Workaround? Or is this a known bug? Fixed in 6.0.1?
