I have a user who cannot forward mail from a “shared” support email database. This database is used by 1/2 dozen support people and is connected to our website. These same people are able to use this mailbox to reply to requests from iquires to the website. There is one user only who cannot forward these emails? He can reply or create new messages, but when attempting to forward them gets the message “Server error: file does not exist”?
I have no idea why this would affect only one user? I have checked all his personal settings and location/connection document and have found no differences.
Subject: “Server error: File does not exist” when forwarding mail
Reason in my case was corrupted local person addressbook file names.nsf (probably due to laptop crash etc.).
Try to make fresh install without copying desktop6.ndk or names.nsf from previous installation. Launch Notes and see if problems persist… then copy back names.nsf and see what’s happened.
