My server running on 6.0.2CF1 ended by itself around 4am. It happened a couple of times. No information regarding the server ending on the Domino server log or the Windows Event viewer. We are using Symantec SAV 3.1.0.81 on the server. Any suggestion?

4am the mail.box is compacting. Is there any issue related to the compacting cause the server ended by itself?

We’re having the same problem. I don’t know if it has to do with SAV converting every email from MIME to CD and back, but the Domino server just exits. No event errors logged in Domino or Windows. It happens to us around 4:30am when it’s performing its daily on-demand scan of our users’ mailboxes. Have you found anything out about this? Is there a way to track if this is happening on a specific document based on its Notes ID? This is very frustrating!

The reason was because of one of the mailboxes was no good. After deleting the mailbox and created a new one my server no longer crashed.
You can search “fatal” on the date of the crashed nds report. It will give you which database cause the problem. You can also seach the 6 Forum to find the articles related how to use the nds.
