Got a server crash yesterday and names.nsf acting weird after the crash. Recreated old users and some users could not access their home server.

Here’s output from the nsd log file:

Subject: server crash

May we request a PMR for this outage. We’d like to work through the formal channels on this one. This outage could be related to SPR MIAS7M5RWN. If that could be mentioned in PMR it would be appreciated.

Subject: PMR

Ok sure, how do I make a PMR?

Subject: version of server

Okey, thanks. Can’t see any related to that. The strange thing is that I just upgraded to 8.5 and in the server document the build number is still 8.0.1.

I saved the Data catalog, installed 8.5 and pointed out the Data catalog.

Something wrong with names.nsf?
