Subject: Update?

Hi Manuel,

Did you ever get a resolution to this issue. We are experiencig something similar now on a 8.5.2FP2 Domino server using SameTime 8.5.1

Subject: additional information is needed for investigating the crash

Hi,

I’m part of the Community Server development team.

The most probable cause of such a crash is some configuration problem related to token generation that created a corrupted token or didn’t create tokens at all.

In order to continue the investigation we need to receive the Sametime server traces.

In case that the Sametime server traces were already enabled, please attach here/send to support the content of the Trace folder.

If Sametime traces were not enabled, please set:

  1. VP_TRACE_ALL=1 under the [Debug] section in sametime.ini

  2. ST_DEBUG_FILE_NAME=/stnotes.txt in notes.ini

After doing this restart Domino and after recreating the problem provide the content of the Trace folder.

In addition we need to receive:

names.nsf

stconfig.nsf

sametime.ini

notes.ini

sametime.log

content of the IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT folder

Thank you,

Leonid

Subject: Please create a PMR

Hi Manuel,

If you could create a PMR with our Support organization this would help us further troubleshoot this issue directly with you and gather the information that Leonid requested for further review.

Thanks,

Kirti
