I am running Domino 7.0.3 (had the same thing running 7.0.2FP2) under Windows 2003 SP2. When I do a ‘show users’ I see that the domino server is connected to itself multiple times. I have seen as many as 75 connections. When I do a ‘netstat -b’ at the command line I see that the nserver.exe is the process with all the connections. If I do a ‘drop servername’ at the command line all the connections disappear, but slowly over the next 10-15 minutes the connections come back. Also when I do the drop, netstat shows me that all the connections went to a ‘close_wait’ state and sit there for a long time.
I have another 5 servers running the same and they sometimes show that the server is connected to itself once, but usually show no connections, but the users.
