we use several connections to other notes domains to work on external servers. Our main server has the correct connection documents. With client 6.5.6 I can connect to the external servers. With the new client 8.5 I get no connection. The trace says that the server doesn’t have a address of the destination server, but it has, because it works with 6.5.6 on the same server.
What can I do?

Did you upgrade the 6.5.6 Notes Client that was connecting fine to the other servers to Notes 8…5 and now it is not connecting or did you install a brand new client? If you installed a brand new client than it probably needs the same connection documents in the personal NAB on the 6.5.6 client that connects fine…

I installed the new client 8.5 additionally, but in the 6.5 client I have also no local connection documents. Normally the client should then connect to the home server and ask there, if there is a known connection to the destination server. That works with 6.5 but doesn’t with 8.5.
If I create a local connection document I get a connection to the destination server, but that is no solution because I would be difficult to handle on all clients.
