just a quick one where I encounter a strange problem with the server based archiving.
The archiving rules are not taken into account on new domino users. The new new users use the same policy as the users where archiving works, and here is what happens:

old users are archived every night, and a manual run on the console works without problems on those

A user is added, same policy, same settings, but the archiving doesn’t start / work on the new users
The console shows this after using “load compact mail/user.nsf -A”:
Archiving documents from mail/user.nsf (username)
Archiving pushing mail/user.nsf to /archive/a_user.nsf
Archived 0 documents 0 were deleted
- If I now open the maildb properties within the admin client and view the archiving rules everything is there.
Running a new manual archiving after viewing those details the archiving rules magically work aswell on those DBs.
archives and et voila, the archive has documents.
It doesn’t matter if I wait 3 or 5 days after registrating a new user, it will never ever start archiving the DB unless I viewed once the archiving details in the DB properties.
Any clues on this one?
