Server Based Archiving policy ONLY!

Hello,

I set up a server based archiving policy for all the mailboxes of the mailserver. With the lotus notes cleint this policy cannot be modified → that’s good !

  1. Anyway, how can i prevent users from creating any new archiving policy (on local or on server) ? We only want the server based policy to be active.

  2. On the Inotes web interface, when the user go in the Preferences panel, what does he he effectively change when he modifies the Archiving settings (not the server policy ? is he creating a new policy ?..)

Hi,

To avoid local archives you can set the “Prohibit private archive…” on the first tab on the Archiving Setting document.

Yes but what impact does this have on the Inotes client.As far as I can see the webuser can still modify these settings.
