i just enabled server based archiving (via policy) for all our users - works fine so far. problems occur when users wanna access their archive database via inotes coz the link to the db is missing. i found some related topics inside this forum, but no satisfying solution yet. if not necessary, i don’t wanna send out links to my users (there are just a few to much…). any help and hints appreciated!

I just got off the phone with Lotus Tech support. I had the same problem as you and I am running 6.5.1 on a windows 2000 server. I first had “prohibit private archiving criteria” enable. So I unchecked this option and ran “Load compact mail\database.nsf -a” and the problem was resolved.
