We have two servers (partitioned servers) running on single hardware. Now we want to move these servers to independent hardware. What steps should we proceed with.

Hello,
Never did that, but what I think:
On new machine -
-
install same OS, install same Domino version (just install, don’t start)

copy selected partitions data folder to new machine data folder overwriting everything

find apropriate notes.ini for that partition on old server and copy to new machine exe directory

check notes.ini for lines responsible for partition (not sure if any exist, maybe not) and modify/delete them
-
somehow (by installing client?) open names.nsf on new machine to edit server document and change address/IP on Port tab (possibly could be done later)
-
start Domino on new machine
-
don’t know what should be done on old machine to not start that partition ???
At least you can do above and test 
Give some feedback here.
PS. If you have problems with contacting Domino on new machine from other servers, search “clear server cache” (or similar) in admin help
