Sent mails in inbox

We have noted a strange behaviour of webmail in some users. When an user answers to a mail with “Answer to all” option, the sent mail appears in the imbox. With Lotus client, this issue doesn’t appear.

Have you had this behaviour in any moment?

I have seen this happen when for some reason, you may have two e-mail addresses (as a result of re-branding for example). You receive an e-mail using one internet address (john_bigboote@planet10.com) but the server believes that you are john_bigboote@yoyodyne.com. Normally, a reply to all filters out the sender’s name if it appears in any of the recipient fields but it cannot resolve john_bigboote@planet10.com to John Bigboote/Yoyodyne when addressing. In the Notes client, this is not an issue because you are using the Notes ID.

I’m not sure if this is the case for you, but I have seen this happen.

Until you determine the problem, ask the users to examine the Send To field and remove their own name from the list of recipients (I know - not what you wanted to hear)
