Sent copy disappear if using Island Mode

Hi all,

Please help if you have any idea on the issue below.

We have a user who has been using Notes Client 6.5.5 for a long time. Suddenly, he has found that all recent sent mails were not kept in Sent folder if he sent the mails with “Island” mode. But if he sent the mails with “Office” mode, it had no problem on that.

We have tried to re-install the Notes Client and created a new replica on his machine already. However, the problem is still exist.

Please advise if anyone could help on that.

If I remember correctly… On Island, outgoing e-mail is stored in the mail.box file on the computer. They are not sent until the user connects to the server. At that point they should appear in his sent view.
